What a Miraculous Week!!!It was such an amazing time spent with our families from the Northern Federation World Sector. As a church, we got to attend a miraculous conference at Chicago that brought together church leaders who are imbedded by the Holy Spirit with great wisdom. Another significant highlight was having to witness our new sister Conchata Content Cosby get baptized, our sister Alena Gilmer sent on her first mission trip and another sister Deborah Oluwatosin Durodola who got engaged during the banquet session. Just Bible Talk things 😅🤣

Yesterday, we had a great discussion about money 💵
Is it good or is it bad? 🤔

Looking at John 12 & Matthew 26, we examine 2 accounts of women who poured very expensive perfume onto Jesus’ body. Those who witnessed this were pretty upset, as the perfume could’ve been sold for a lot of money and used for something better, in their opinion.

From these accounts, we find out that money is not a bad thing however, the LOVE of money is! It plays a such a huge role in our decision-making and is the one thing we’re constantly worried about!

While it’s totally understandable to be concerned about our finances, the Bible says in Matthew 6:25-33 that if we seek FIRST God’s kingdom and righteousness, He will give us everything we need! This is an amazing promise to EVERYONE. What an encouraging scripture! 😄

This was the main lesson for today’s BibleTalk, preached by the zealous Rohn!
Taking a look at the book of Jonah, we learned how God’s calling for your life does NOT change! It’s a matter of us willing to accept His calling. We can either run away like Jonah did at first, or we can humble ourselves to obey God’s calling for our lives!
