2025 Day 1- C class through Indian River

Pretty bummed…yesterday as I was walking to the pits, I came to the unfortunate realization that my camera is cooked (at least for this weekend). It worked the days leading up, and I have extra batteries, lenses, cords, etc.
I did what I could with an iPhone 12 and my pair of Meta Ray Ban glasses- so I’ll post some videos/pics that might be cool. But photo albums will have to wait until next years race.

Time dedicated to my photography hobby has dwindled as I’ve grown up, but this race is a weekend I can dedicate to the hobby each year. Still stoked I was able to be up here again- but man what an emotional roller coaster.
That all being said- with everything leading up to this weekend…it’s just a camera. I will be back next year. Thank you to all the drivers, families of racers, enthusiasts, organizers, volunteers that make this event what it is every year. My heart and mind goes out to the fallen drivers and the community around them.
Thank you all for following this page, it really has become a spot to share pics of this race every year. I do it for myself (yea it takes skill, but as J Schwartz explained in his story in the program (and I’m paraphrasing)-“it’s such a honey pot for taking cool pics”…it’s the waterways and the boats that make our “jobs” easy.
