Said goodby to a dear friend yesterday. Bill Crume was instrumental in shaping my early art career at Litho Krome Company. We traveled to countless art shows, conventions, museums, trade shows and alway made room to do something cool on our travels. Bill was an extraordinary man with a wealth of wisdom on most anything. He leaves a rich legacy with a love for family and the arts. Irreplaceable to say the least. Rest in Peace dear friend, will see you soon.

James William Rogers. December 31, 1936 - March 20, 2010 15 years ago today I lost the bravest man I ever knew. A father, a son, a brother, a grandfather, an uncle, a sailor, a die hard Alabama Football fan. Dad lost his fight to ALS on this day in 2010. He endured an unspeakable battle and never complained. Though the years keep slipping away his memory will never fade. I love you dad and miss you so very very much.

My first completed painting in nearly 40 years. “Below The Tundra - Elk Herd” On display at the Beyond Go Figure Exhibit at the Bo Bartlett Center, Columbus GA. Opening Reception June 21 / 6:00-8:00 PM. Public invited to this wonderful exhibition.
Inspired by a recent visit to Rocky Mountain National Park last fall where on a backcountry road we came across an elk herd just as it began to snow. It was an amazing scene.
