is unsure how long each owner presided over the property, but the current buildings that stand on the property today were built between the 1840 to 1880’s based on the construction materials and methods used which we discovered during renovations. At the time of purchase, we knew we took on a quite a daunting task that many would shy away from due to the many different obstacles. Sadly, many of the buildings were ready for the bulldozer. However, two and a half years later, the renovation process is nearly complete, and we have restored the farmhouse and all buildings to their grandeur days. We have taken pride in the craftsmanship we have used bringing each building of the farmstead back to life and doing so as historically accurate as possible, keeping the farmhouse feel alive. Knowing the farmstead was built at a time when quality and craftsmanship was cherished by those who labored on their work, we wanted to take that same approach in everything we were doing. These traits are in a sense lost today by many, with the history and its relics being shoved aside for the latest “new and upcoming” things. And with this transition, history and a form of art is being lost. And this is where our handmade, quality, furnishings come in.

*** Jessica Specializes in the construction of sewn N95/TM2020 face masks, Amish Country Quilts, wall decor quilts and custom quilts of any size (made to order). I also have an inventory of table runners, centerpiece runners and placemats, hot pads, mug mats. I also have the ability to embroider as well as, free motion quilting.
