Over the past few weeks, I have been doing some drywall repairs due to ice damage in this Victorian Village house.
I have also been painting a few rooms.

I remodeled two bathrooms in this house a few years ago. Next week, I go back to paint two more rooms.

I just finished laying out an 8-page newsletter for the Childcare CEO Academy. It took me back to the early 1990s when I first got in to graphics work. I was working at the Neighborhood Design Center doing drawings for storefront renovations. The office for the Franklinton Board of Trade was in the same building. They were looking for someone to write, design and bulk-mail a newsletter. That project led me to the Inkwell in Franklinton, who gave me tons of graphics projects. The Franklinton newsletter also led to newsletters for other Columbus neighborhood organizations, and then to the Ohio Humanities Council. OHC provided the articles and I did the layout work. People I met there led me to other places including Visit Fairfield County. I also did a lot of work with Prep Academy Schools, whose founders sent me this project. I also ended up doing work for a furniture store in Minneapolis.

My jam lately is to take random roads I’ve never been on before. Today I’m driving random roads from Springfield, Ohio back to Marysville, Ohio and I run across this covered bridge in Union County.

I know Union County has many covered bridges and a covered bridge tour, but I’ve never gone to see any of them. It’s kind of cool just to randomly run across one.
