I’m intrigued by the idea of a kitchen that doesn’t scream “kitchen.” I designed this kitchen to be a bit more anonymous and laid back with a mix of materials.
So much of design is about fantasy. Finding ways to elevate your personal space so that it truly serves you is always the goal. I recently had a visit with . Enjoy a tour of my home through their lens.

Thanks to Queen Victoria of England dog portraits were all the rage. I wanted to bring a fresh spin to the notion of pet praise with this portrait hanging over a smart and casual sectional sofa perfect for lounging with family and friends ✌️

It’s dope when we have a chance to collaborate with a client who has a love for vintage and antiques. This office in a client’s estate features items new/old items from various shops and their own personal collection.

So much of Interior Design is about fantasy and setting the stage for life to happen. The most storied and iconic spaces are built over time. A great room works perfectly for the now and makes room for future discovery. We change and we grow, and so should our homes ☺️

Well, I just got cussed out for the first time in 2022! Not cursed but CUSSED. I just sat there thinking to myself “they wouldn’t be yelling at Nate Berkus like this.” To all of my clients, who are angry about delays, please phone Mr. Covid Darell Omarion Jenkins and lash out at him. The delays are his fault, not mine. I assure you that I’m just as equally concerned as you. Thank you, Management 🙏

Snapshot from a bedroom I designed in Toronto! I utilized a variety of fabrics and textures to create layers and visual interests.

I worked with clients to convert a hospital chapel into their new home. The owners suite is located in the oversized loft area, which use to be the balcony. They wanted a simple black and white theme with subtle hints of brass and color. We were able to carve out a generous work space in one of the nooks, which served various purposes.

Murray Hill is one of my favorite neighborhoods in NYC. I have had the pleasure of collaborating with various clients who call the neighborhood home. However, on this particular job, a NYPD tow truck came in the middle of our installation and tried to jacked the company van. The van had all of the accessories in it. I had to have the assistants and porters of the building grab everything is a hurry while I argued with the tow truck driver who was steadily hoisting up the vehicle 😝 let’s just say that I’m glad no one was standing around with a camera when when it happened. It was a movie 🎥 In the end this townhouse apartment had tons of charm and I used blue and purple hues as accents through the design scheme. It was definitely worth the $600 tow fee 😆
