Deep brown is everywhere right now, from fashion to interiors, especially with last week’s announcement of Benjamin Moore’s 2026 Color of the Year, Silhouette. But how do you incorporate it at home in a way that will last? Let’s break it down.

I usually have a hard time when designing the December artwork for my calendar. This year it just fell into place and I think it might be my favorite month of them all. May comes in at the top too. I've sold more than half of my inventory so if you want one this year get it now! As always, thanks for your support.

This little pattern has been floating around in my “work in progress” folder for a few months now. It still needs some finesse and color work. I got distracted with another pattern and forgot all about it! I have a few coordinates in progress, so I think it’s worth finishing. Happy Friday!

A big “thank you” to America’s veterans. Today we officially honor those who have served to keep us safe and free. We owe you a debt of gratitude.

I’m still not sure how I blink and another week has gone by. It could be the 10 & 11 year olds in the house that keep me on my toes. I have been working on refreshing my online shop I’m thinking about the types of products I want to sell in the long run and slowly getting there. This is an art print I’m testing out at the suggestion of one of my oldest friends. She saw my calendar post in September and suggested it would make a great art print. I’m waiting for the proofs from two different printers, so it will be a week or two if they make it to the shop. What are you working on this week?

Sharing a snippet from my most recent collection today. It took forever to clean up those stripes. And the dots in the background too! I prefer hand-created elements, which means tons of tidying up before I use them. This one was worth the effort. Now I'm off to create some friends to go with it.
I want to participate in the but I'm a bit behind. This is my floral +flow!

Here is the November page from my 2021 Calendar. I'm selling my 2022 version, which you can see in my stories and purchase in my shop. I've only printed a limited number of copies this year, and I'm almost 1/3 of the way through them. Grab one (or three) now! November starts with a few super busy days, but I'm hoping we can begin the intentional slow down for the holidays soon. Happy November!

Here is a little color inspiration from the very last of my cut flowers. I have a bunch of late bloomers, and I love them. (I totally identify with them.) Definitely fall color with a hint of the Christmas season to come. Happy Saturday!

The month of May from my 2022 Desk Calendar is one of my favorites. I think I prefer these colors. As I go back through my work over the years, I can see this color theme repeatedly. I think it's the Cape Cod summers embedded in my soul.
I'll be starting to ship the first orders early next week. I appreciate the early orders. Thanks, my friends!

I like to go back over old pages and add something new. Today it was adding stripes to a bunch of florals. These were painted to be separate motifs brought together in photoshop, so the layout makes no sense. Adding the stripes was just for fun and to play with an idea for upcoming work. Now I'm ready to dive in and make it happen! What are you working on today?
