I’ve been MIA… and there’s a reason for it.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been visiting shoe stores, walking the aisles, and talking with employees to answer one question:

Has it really become easier for women who wear sizes 11, 12, and 13 to find stylish shoes?

As someone who has worn an extended size for more than 25 years, I wanted to see for myself.

What I found was disappointing.

Despite all the conversations around size inclusivity, many stores still carry very few size 11s and 12s, and size 13s are often nowhere to be found.

After 25 years, women in extended sizes are still searching aisle after aisle hoping to find something fashionable in their size.

And that reminded me exactly why I started Chaussures.
