Today we announce our PowerNIL partnership with Rise Above: Friends of Penn State Adaptive Athletics, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to advancing elite opportunities for adaptive student-athletes.

This initiative is focused on one clear objective: raising the funding necessary to provide scholarships, training resources, equipment, and travel support for adaptive athletes competing at the highest level. Unlike traditional Division I athletes backed by major athletic budgets, these athletes rely on external support to access the same level of opportunity. The gap is real, and this partnership is built to close it.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding access and opportunity for adaptive athletes whose resilience, determination, and performance define elite competition. The goal is not only to provide support, but to help build a program that earns national respect and serves as a model for collegiate adaptive athletics.

We are actively engaging corporate partners, sponsors, and individual donors who want to align with these high-performance athletes and directly impact these athletes’ ability to train, compete, and succeed.

Congratulations to our very own McKayla Wymer on setting a new PR of 11’5” in the Pole Vault while competing at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Track & Field Championship as a member of the Ashland University team!

Before she was a Tiger, she was an Owl. Mrs. Chism's kindergarten class had a special guest reader Friday, Madison Griggs. Madison, who is not only Mrs. Chism's daughter, but also an all star player for the University of Memphis Women's Basketball team, attended elementary at Chimneyrock Elementary. Thank you Madison for returning to your foundation to give back.
