Today we honor the legacy of Harvey Milk, a visionary who taught us that “hope will never be silent.” As one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.S., Harvey didn’t just seek a seat at the table, he sought to shatter the closet doors for everyone.
We must remember his courage, his call to live authentically, and his unwavering belief that “you must come out” to fight the silence.
