This part feels a little obsessive… removing the paper pulp, and hoping the printed image holds. I’m working toward a series of 1000 I'm committed to complete by the end of the year. I’m learning something new every single time and trying to trust the process (shout out Rick Ruben 🖤) Each one’s its own little original.

I'm obsessed with these sharpie oil based markers.

I thought I would do a little something different for these minis. I'm having some fun with texture, mixed media and background.

Acrylic transfer on miniature wood blocks — each one a small risk, each one original.

Rendering in color after transferring the first piece of this series onto a block of wood. This is a cropped image of one of my favorite drawings from 2024.

They're going to the second of 20 in my series of 1000 pieces for 2026.

I made a little jig to add on to a jig I just made for putting key holes in the back of my miniature art series. I'm going to make 1000 of these this year!

This is a little keel jig that I fabricated for my miniature art series. I'm going to use this for 1000 miniature original artworks.

I may have spoke too soon about the printing process fail... I transferred nine more images using the laser toner transfer method with acrylic medium. These blocks had a base layer that had been painted and sealed and lightly sanded. They turned out really well!

This is the first of my 1,000-piece 2026 series. I've been trying to perfect a laser jet transfer process to print the outline of my drawing; which looks fine from a distance, but up close doesn't look great... I can't seem to remove all of the paper pulp without damaging the image.

Repeating this process 1000 times sounds like a nightmare! I'm going back to my roots and building a simple screen print setup.
