Did You Know?!?!?
Dappled sunlight is super beneficial for us!!!
It can help drop cortisol and calm the nervous system because it's considered "soft fascination"
It can provide a visual reset and you're still getting the UV wavelengths that stimulate vitamin D synthesis. And it also reinforces your circadian rhythm!!
I've got countless pictures of dappled light through the trees , it truly brings me so much joy.
Here's a video of some dappled light to brighten your day!!!
Let your light shine.
I'm working on spreading mine more. I like to hide in the shadows and keep to myself when I'm working through things but I'm learning ; that having people at your side willing to sit with you until you're ready , it makes things feel less heavy, and dark.
So be the light today. You never know who's darkness you're helping 💖
This quote can hit very differently depending on the journey someone is in, the choices in front of them, and the consequences that follow.
But the truth of it stays the same no matter the story.
For me, it’s a reminder that every moment is a chance to pause and shift perspective.
Life is hard.
Doing the right thing is hard in a world that applauds facades and highlights reels.
Showing up and staying honest is hard in a world that would rather watch you burn than hear the truth.
Do it anyway.
Because the hard we endure now becomes the change we create in the future.
Looking back, I've always enjoyed making up rhymes.
If I'm feeling it, I will generally belt it out.
This one came to me as I was listening to the birds sing and thought I could add some beauty to their melodies.
The words were right, my notes were not.
So here's a little nature rhyme for you to enjoy alongside the morning bird song.
It wasn’t until I truly let go of so many negative thoughts and expectations that I finally decided to publish my first book.
It was a scary process.
Would people love it? Would they even buy it?
I had to release the idea that I was a failure if those answers turned out to be “no.”
Because the truth is… I had already succeeded the moment I chose to move forward.
The moment I pushed past the discomfort, the fear, the possibility of rejection.
This quote from Guy Finley captures the art of letting go so beautifully.
Sit with it for as long as you need.
Then think about something in your own life you’ve been holding back on…
Something you want, but fear has been keeping you from.
Let yourself really feel the “what” and the “why.”
And then… let it go.
Let yourself be free of it.
Ohhhh HELLO ! Yes, I'm still around 😁😊
My perfectionism keeps me from sharing most of the time but that's not why I'm here anymore. Not to be perfect. Not to make everyone happy. And most certainly not to curate a viral post.
I created True Kind as an outlet for myself , and eventually others.
A place to share deep thoughts, ideas, nature related stuff, creative hobbies turned into projects, works to be shared, and basically all the parts of what I find incredible about this life.
And that means it's not going to be for everyone, something that I never thought I'd actually be okay with. But here I am, grateful and ready to see where this path leads with joy and peace like I've never known.
Thanks for hanging around.
🌻💛☀️
If you would have told me last year at this time that I'd have TWO published books out in the world, I would have chuckled and thought you were crazy.
Guess I was a little crazy because here I am now, ABCs of Sleepy Time is out and I couldn't be more excited to share it with the world.
This book has a new "feature" & one that will be a staple now in all ABCs of Life series books.
I can't wait to hear how you and your littles enjoy it 🤩
❣️Every like and share is an opportunity for a different family to find the joy this book can offer!
THANK YOU!!!❣️

Bedtime routines and ABCs.
The trial and error that came with this book was all worth it.
There's a new "feature" in this book and I can't wait for you all to enjoy it 🤩
Mommas to be or anyone with a woman in their life who would love the extra help!
Published in December.
Shared with the world in February.
I was scared. Would kids like it? Parents?
Even though I created this for my daughter , I had always hoped it could be something other littles would enjoy.
Seeing something so small and personal make its way into other families has meant more to me than I expected.
If you’ve supported me in any way; liking, purchasing, sharing, or even just reading this
THANK YOU!
& if you happen to know someone with little kids who might enjoy it,
Please share it with them too!
Ok, who remembers the rock hiding trend ?!?
I'm working on bringing it back!
I love to paint rocks and then my kids love to hide them at our favorite parks for others to find!
Have you ever found a cool painted rock while out and about?
