It’s been one week since our journey began with my daughter’s heart. We have been through the range of feelings. First shock, then regret we hadn’t found it earlier, then sadness, all mixed with the overwhelm of it all.
We are now feeling Shalom, the peace of God. We have been encouraged by the love and support of our community. Prayer is being lifted up all over the world.

I have decided to temporarily close In Home Creations so I can be present and focus on my family.

is a spunky lady who added tons of laughter and fun to a recent party. She made her Adventure Awaits sign for her camper.
I had to chuckle when I overheard this little dialogue at the party…
Party Guest: Oh, I love how my sign turned out! Isn’t it great?
Cathy: Not as great as mine!

And we have found out we have so many!

Yesterday our daughter was unexpectedly admitted into children’s. It’s been a whirlwind but we see God’s hand in it all. My mom was here visiting so we had a third person to be able to stay home with our boys. This week the doctor who specializes in her issue is working! And, we are thankful for how our family and friends have been so willing to step up and fill any gaps.

We are trusting God to heal her heart and lungs.

Saturday night’s Paint Party 🎨 🎉

This group of ladies had a blast together Saturday night! It was so much fun to work with them.

I’m now booking paint parties for November and December!

This good question helps you know what’s most important to your friend.

*note…I’m not advocating for saving things in a dangerous situation.

However, it’s fun to find out what are your friend’s most prized or valued possessions.

After the abandoned house next door went up in flames (arson) in the middle of the night a few weeks ago, I don’t think I’d take anything because of the intense adrenaline. However, on a practical level, I’d hope to grab my children and then my purse and car keys. On a sentimental level I’d grab my scrapbooks and computer.

These ladies enjoyed brunch together on Saturday morning then learned new skills in my hand lettering workshop!

My answer———
Either a nonfiction about a topic I love such as friendship or something faith related.
Or, a children’s book. I once made up a story while putting my kids to bed that I think would make a fun book. It’s about a cow who lost its moo.
