Even though the deer hunting season is still a ways away its important that we start planning now. This should be the time of year that habitat improvements are taking place. Be vigilant while walking through your property and make note of any thoughts and ideas about what the deer population might want this coming fall and winter. Please remember that even though your property might look like it provides good cover and plenty of food now; it will most likely change during the fall and winter months when deer need those things the most.
