We're excited to launch our new Pastoral Residency Program this fall!
We've received several strong applications already, and because of the interest, we're extending the application deadline to make room for more aspiring pastors.
The residency is led by Pastor Rich Nathan, who served as the Founding Pastor of Vineyard Columbus for nearly 40 years. This local, practical, and cohort-based program is designed to equip leaders through:
• Small-group mentoring in leadership and theology
• Practical ministry experience within their local church context
• Intentional spiritual formation
• A supportive learning community of fellow residents
If you feel called to pastoral ministry—or know someone who does—we encourage you to apply.
Learn more and submit your application at forcolumbus.org/residency before the program reaches capacity.

Yesterday, the Church of Columbus came together around one shared mission: learning how to reach Gen Z with the truth of the gospel.
Pastors, ministry leaders, and believers from across our city gathered to hear from Aaron Pierce of Steiger International and to be reminded that Gen Z is not beyond reach.
Together, we gained practical tools for outreach, spent time in prayer, and talked about what it means to faithfully show up in the lives of the next generation with the hope of Jesus.
It was especially encouraging to see men and women from different generations, denominations, churches, and backgrounds united by a shared love for the young people of our city.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this gathering meaningful. Columbus, we’re better together.

The next generation is not beyond reach.
Join For Columbus and Steiger International for a Gen Z Evangelism & Outreach Training designed to help churches, ministries, and volunteers engage students with the hope of the gospel in thoughtful, practical ways.
“Not Beyond Reach” is a 2.5-hour seminar exploring the cultural realities shaping Gen Z and how followers of Jesus can respond with compassion, creativity, friendship, and prayer.
This training is for pastors, nonprofit leaders, volunteers, and anyone who wants to better understand and reach the next generation in Columbus.
🍽️ Lunch will be provided.
As part of For Columbus’ vision for citywide renewal, this is an opportunity to learn alongside others who care deeply about seeing young people encounter Jesus.
Please RSVP via the link in our bio so we can prepare materials, lunch, and seating accommodations.

We heard about a film that reflects Jesus' heart for unity in the Church, so we want to share it with you!
🎬 In theaters for today and tomorrow only!
*That They May Be One* is a powerful exploration of Christian unity, reconciliation, and the heart of Jesus’ prayer “that they may be one.”
The film weaves together thoughtful commentary, lived experiences, and cinematic storytelling to show both the pain division causes and the beauty of reconciliation in Christ.
This is more than a film to watch—it’s an invitation to reflect, repent, and move toward one another in love.

Today is the National Day of Prayer 🇺🇸🙏
Across Columbus and around the country, people will gather to pray for our neighborhoods, churches, schools, leaders, families, and communities. In a time when so many feel divided, prayer reminds us that hope, peace, and renewal begin when we seek God together.
Join us today as we pray for:
• Unity in our city
• Wisdom for leaders
• Hope for the next generation
• Peace in our communities
• A movement of love and faith across Columbus
Also, join us tomorrow as we gather for our May Prayer Breakfast at 9am at Karl Road Baptist Church! You can register at the link in our bio.
