Farmhouse Shelves!
We had a blast turning over these two 4' L - 4/4 poplar shelves for a special holiday gift.
We appreciate the simplistic nature of the design and how pretty the poplar color variation is. Keywords the client wanted: rustic, simple, characteristic. We think we hit all three of those.
We hope you enjoy too!

Phew, it has been a while. Life, like for almost all of us, has been challenging. But with those challenges comes great lessons. It's up to us to determine if we want to learn from them or just write them off. And, learning, as most of you takes time - hence the hiatus there for a bit.
Thankfully everything is working out and moving in a positive direction. Keep your head on straight and keep moving. If you want to make things happen, they will happen.
Love you all, stay safe, stay passionate, and stay healthy ❤

Cherry Waves
🍒🌊
A live edge cutting board made from air dried Cherry and Hard Maple. This one was a blast!
We love how much color variation it shows just from different sunlight angles, it really has so much character and depth.

Simplicity meets functionality
A recent client wanted a shoe rack developed that was as simple as possible but was more than meets the eye. Little details such as the simple dado joints, chamfered corners, while interacting with the lines of the plywood makes for an complex yet subtle aesthetic.
Simplicity was driven by a single material, single joint type, single finish, and no mechanical fasteners.
All in all, this project was a learning experience. But, we loved every minute of it.
Material: 0.75" Baltic Birch Plywood
Adhesive: Titebond 2
Finish: Satin Lacquer, Clear

Heirloom
Hard to believe that this board is over 20 years old.
Was commissioned by a client to restore a cutting board back to its former glory. The board had glue joints falling apart, molding wood, gouges, you name it. Now? It's almost too pretty to give back!
And did I forget to take before pictures? 100% yes. 🙄
Loved how brought out the warm colors in the hard maple.
