We are currently sitting on one half month's worth of inventory in Bartholomew County (40 listed homes) which is leading to the rapid increase of home values. In this area, some homes have appreciated over 10% in the last year. That is almost 1% a MONTH! In other words, a home that is worth $200,000 today could cost as much as $212,000 in six months. With such low inventory it is hard to see this slowing down anytime soon.
