Absolutely this!! Finding joyful movement is the goal. Building strength and endurance is the goal. Feeling good is the goal.
Exercise should never be a punishment.
We have to find the right motivation when we wish to create lasting change. Not just with exercise, but with everything. Celebrate yourself!

Who We Are, What we do
Rainy Day Sunshine came to be a thought and eventually a realized dream after our creator/founder Christina discovered that her daughter was not getting to exercise during inside recess at school. Due to no gymnasium availability, and small classroom space, the kiddos were watching cartoons all winter and on rainy days. (Which is ok- who doesnβt love cartoons?! But we can do better!!)
SO, this is where Rainy Day Sunshine comes in. We designed our routines to use little or no equipment, and exercises will remain mostly stationary--walking or marching in place, doing knees up and reaching tall, clapping, etc. to allow participation of maximum fun in minimum space!
All of our work-INs, as we like to call them, are shown modified to be performed seated too, which helps us be inclusive for those who may be wheelchair bound, have limited mobility, or simply brand new to exercise! Also, this means you can exercise at your desk! :)
HEREβS WHAT TO EXPECT:
We start with a warm-up, do some in-place aerobics, we might add a few strength-training exercises or upright yoga poses, and always cool down and stretch!
Each videoβs length may vary between 5 and 25 minutes, but will never exceed that to make sure these work-INs can be performed during a 30 minute recess time-slot.
