Well, the weather had different plans for today. Sadly, we are having to cancel all Boyd Plaza activities for First Thursday due to flooding and in the area.

Once things hopefully clear up, please still enjoy your evening at any of the many Main Street District businesses that will still be open and happy to see you. Our creators’ market will hopefully still have vendors up and down the blocks as well if conditions improve.

Everyone stay safe and we’ll see you soon!

The rain should let up before 4pm, First Thursday is still a go! Come see DJ Marah On The Wall 🧚🏾‍♀️, The Morel Support Group, and EZ⚡PT tonight!

⚡️EZ⚡PT , 8pm ⚡️An amalgamation of folk sensitivity, haphazard rhythms, harmonious voices, fuzzy and plunky instruments, the trio EZ️⚡PT sounds otherworldly, and like no other band before them.

The group comes from a collaboration of talents, Zach Seibert, lead singer/ songwriter of E.Z. Shakes, and Sean Thomson and Kelley Porterfield from The Post-Timey String Band.

With their powers combined they save audiences from musical dullness. It’s a sound you have to hear to believe.

After shuffling some DJ’s around (heh 😅) we’re excited to share that DJ Marah On The Wall 🧚🏾‍♀️ will be throwing it down with us tomorrow on Boyd Plaza! We can’t wait to party with DJ Kris Alexander later this year 🪩✨

DJ Marah On The Wall 🧚🏾‍♀️ is an open-format DJ with a passion for bringing people together through music. Before becoming a DJ, she began her journey producing beats, fueling her passion and giving her a deep appreciation for the music she now brings to every crowd. For nearly two years, she has brought that same passion to every event she plays. Her goal is to create an atmosphere where people can connect, enjoy the moment, and create memories that last long after the music ends.
