Back to basics | Another day of sketching Loomis heads and a character!

Back to basics | Thank you for encouraging me to get back to basics and for some very insightful tips 🧡 Spent some learning the Loomis method today and ended up creating a small sketch/character. One small step closer today 👣

It's Day-31 of . It officially ends! The last drawing was a little pat on the back for myself 😁 for being consistent & not breaking a streak for 31 days amidst various other commitments. I'm quite proud of myself for sticking to the daily sketching routine for a month and even though it was hectic & tiring some days, it did help me learn a thing or two. Hoping to continue doing more sketches , if not daily , at least every few days. Thank you all for following my inktober journey! It was fun 🙂

It's Day-30 of . I had very little time today so decided to do something quick. I tried out lighting and shadows in this quick drawing today. Just one more day to go 🥲

It's Day-29 of . Took a long time to finish this one. It was a great exercise for me to study different poses and actions. Figuring out the eyes was the hardest part for me! In the end, I'm quite happy with this watercolor style. I've realized I'm liking the watercolor and pastel styles more. Just two more days to go 🙂

It's Day-27 of . I've always loved the purple and red shades of red onion and here's an attempt to recreate it in a watercolor style!

It's Day-26 of . Less than a week to go!!

It's Day-25 of . The prompt reminded me of the Indian festival called "Bhogi", where people discard unwanted items. It's a symbol of burning away the past and welcoming new beginnings 🙂

It's Day-9 of . Another day of not having a clue on what to draw and ending up with a new character 🫠
