Farewell
- As the new year begins, I want to announce something that has been on my mind for quite some time now. About 5-6 years ago I started this music journey knowing little to nothing about music. And I mean nothing, my mom being the supportive angel she is bought me my first deck & I was in love from then on & after that came some pretty lame mixes, tracks & “Bootlegs”. It’s all a learning process though because then came my first show @ The Black Sheep in CO Springs in 2015. I was nervous, scared and emotional to say the least, but from that day on & the many more shows to come after that I’ve learned through some really tough times that everything comes at a cost. Today I am announcing that after 23 years living in CO I am making an emotional decision to move away. I’ve always been a person to think that my environment & surroundings are a big influence to my work flow. Some days are good & bad regardless of environment sure, but for me it’s different. Now this doesn’t mean anything negative for the Tevin Draft project though, I want to give everyone the best version of me & everything to make my work flow & knowledge greater for the brand. I wouldn’t be where I am without every single one of you supporting my decisions, releases, shows & overall well being. From the countless sets & B2B’s with homies I’ve met along the was this was a tough decision mentally & physically, but if I want to make this a career then risks must be taken. If any artist out there is struggling or feels like giving up on their dreams don’t. You are not alone & what you give in is what you get out. With that being said I’m not leaving forever, I will be back in the near future with a bunch of new material to show for it And won’t be leaving any shows behind. I have some stuff booked out for 2019 already, but more on that later. I want to thank everyone who has given me a chance, Listen, like or even a hug but because there’s so many things/people to thank the list would be infinite. So THANKYOU! I’m where I want to be & will only grow from this day forward along side the amazing talent @ Superb Beats. ❤️
- As a gift of your continued support I’ll be releasing a Free Download of something I’ve been holding on to for a while. As well as a 4 Track EP late February.
