you should definitely add a hair serum, (commonly referred to as oil) to the ENDS of your hair, and brush it in, between wash days! This helps keep tangles away and conditions dry ends that have not benefited from naturally produced oils.⁠⁣

Don’t believe all those myths about applying oils to the scalp to encourage less oil production. Unless you have a super dry scalp you should definitely only apply oil only to the ends of your hair. ⁠⁣

Dry Shampoo not hitting the mark?⁠

Before you call it quits and go back to everyday washing try this:⁠
⁠
Spray that dry shampoo and the roots and then BLOW DRY IT IN. I'm not talking about foam, I'm talking about aerosol dry shampoo spray. By blow drying it you can push that powder down through the hair without leaving too much residue. That disbursement of dry shampoo powder will soak up oils farther down the hair shaft and make your hair feel extra clean.⁠

Blasting the cold setting!⁠⁣

Giving yourself a grey blow dry isn't as hard as you might think... you can make it 10x easier by hitting you hair with the cool shot at the end to lock in shine and seal those cuticles down to avoid tangles and set the shape.⁣

Just be sure when you blow dry you are blow drying down the hair shaft not up to avoid roughing up the cuticle layer.⁠⁣
