Bailey Military Support
Our vision is to reduce military affiliated su***des in our community. We started out as a tiny church group in Fountain, Colorado.
We are a 501(c)(3) in Colorado Springs that is dedicated to supporting current and former service members and their families while honoring the legacy of Army CSM Scott Bailey. Our Vision is to reduce military affiliated su***des by focusing on the wellness of the entire family. When the church abruptly shut down, our president and founder, Skyler Nelson, realized that there was a need to continue

We are so excited that our VIP guest, Hulk, and his amazing handler will be joining us for our fifth annual su***de prevention dinner on September 4th!
LT Marshall with Fountain PD has been blessing us with her support since the very first time we hosted this event. This duo was a huge inspiration behind incorporating Ellie as a therapy dog into our program. LT Marshall has been such a blessing and a huge help along the way.
Seeing the impact Hulk has on our guests as speakers share difficult and emotional topics is truly a gift. LT Marshall not only shares information about life-saving resources in our community, but she also shares her own story. She inspires all of us every day with her mission to soften the badge and walk alongside people during some of the hardest moments of their lives through the therapy dog program she created.
Thank you, LT Marshall and Hulk, for all you do for our community. ❤️

Today we said farewell to our incredible friends! ❤️🥹
One of the hardest parts of running this organization is when amazing families move away. The King family has supported me and this organization since before we even received our 501(c)(3) letter in February of 2022. Mindy and Will are both Army veterans. Mindy served as a Black Hawk crew chief and door gunner, and Will recently retired after 20 years of active-duty service, having served in many positions, to include a Black Hawk pilot. Michael and William were still in elementary school when they joined us, and now Michael is on his way to starting high school.
It’s so bittersweet when families have been with us for years and move on to other things, but this family is particularly special, having been with us since the very beginning. They will be missed, not just by us, but by all the other organizations that they supported during their time here in Colorado.
Whether it was helping set up a booth, helping sponsor an event, or simply showing up, the Kings have always been people I can count on as friends and supporters of this organization. I also recently had the honor of tolling the Honor Bell beside them, which is a memory I’ll treasure! I also got to present Mindy with a prestigious award as being a female Living Legend!
We wish you all the best, Mindy, Will, Michael, and William! ❤️💙🚁
Much Love,
Sky

Interested in becoming a Bailey Military Support member? ❤️🫶🏻
At Bailey Military Support, membership dues are just $50 per year for families and $25 per year for couples or individuals. Those dues help us provide meals, activities, support groups, children’s programming, and community events throughout the year.
We know committing to something new can be difficult, which is why military-affiliated guests are welcome to attend a meeting before deciding whether membership is right for them.
As an organization focused on su***de prevention, we know that community matters. Research has shown that strong social connections and a sense of belonging can help reduce su***de risk. Creating a place where service members, veterans, and their families can connect and support one another is at the heart of what we do.
Because nobody should have to walk through military life alone. 💙

Lois Landgraf was most definitely a warrior for us all! Her heart and passion for serving our military will continue to live on through the work she did in office and the lives she touched. Thank you friend for inspiring us. We are so deeply missed. ❤️
