I took off of my full time job/yoga this week & was going to celebrate my best friends birthday with her on an island. Booked flights, booked accommodations. And then something changed. For the first time, I didnโt want to run or explore. I just wanted to stay. I wanted to be still. I want to check in and not check out. I donโt want to answer emails, I donโt want to overbook my schedule. I just want to be.
I personally wouldnโt have booked a ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ธ๐ถ๐๐พโด๐ on my own. The universe knew I needed it to happen this way. As a yoga teacher, I constantly feel the responsibility to share & speak my truth. Itโs the philosophical principle of Satya. My truth is that I do too much. I donโt listen when I need rest. I fill my schedule with plans upon plans upon plans to avoid feeling. I put everyone before me. And Iโve officially reached the point where that is no longer serving me. I need stillness. I need me. I need to stayโจ
Iโll be spending my week listening. Meditating. Journaling. Reading.
Running. Practicing. Eating well.
Taking care of my body and my mind. And if youโre reading this, I hope you are inspired to listen. Move slow. Do less. Take it easy. Youโre so much more important than the things on your to do list.

Teaching here today, Friday @ Noon โจ & in the Metuchen plaza tomorrow, Saturday @ 9am โ๏ธโ I then wonโt be teaching again until 7/28. Taking some time off to reset. Itโs always needed. How often do you reset? How often do you listen when you need a little pause? Life is short, do it more often๐ค

So blessed to have a little sister who knows me better than I know myself. So blessed be surrounded by the most loving energy that is so different than mine yet so the same โจ
If theres one thing you know about Brooke & I โ itโs that we love HARD. I wanted to give a really special shout out for all the detail, love, energy & time that went into making my 29th birthday cake and dinner so beyond special. Babyโs breath is my favorite accent & the colors & food & plants & just everything had me speechless. The little details are really the big ones.
Most importantly, can we talk about the perfection of a child she birthed ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ I love you & Athena so much itโs indescribable ๐๐ Sister appreciation, birthday appreciation, just overall... appreciate every single thing about you ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค

I canโt help but reflect how grateful I am that through all of the struggle Iโve experienced this year, one of the best thing Iโve been gifted is these 2 humans. The universe knew I needed themโจ
I have always placed a really high value on friendship. It means the world to me. This picture speaks to me. Maybe itโs the colors. Or the place. Or the memory I have when it was taken. Maybe itโs my nail polish and Iโm missing manicures more than ever. Idk. But it speaks to me.

A lot of photography strikes emotion for me. It brings me to a nostalgic place that I love to live within. It can be dangerous when trying to remain present because that moment is already gone. But itโs something about the capturing and the shaping that all the moments of our lives carve out for us as humans that really resonates with me. I have visions of doing something with it in my future.

It reminds me why I return to my mat. Every day. To keep shaping. To keep growing. To keep expanding and feeling and moving. Side crow is always an option when everything in real life feels uncertain. I had a really sh*tty state of mind the past few days. Yoga brought me back. As it always does.

Hi yogis! I don't post on here often because I am very rarely on Facebook but I wanted to share my weekly yoga schedule as it's at a pretty consistent place with CO-VID 19. I am so grateful for my yoga practice on a daily basis as it's the main thing that keeps me afloat. Reach out if you need anything.
*please note: I lead 2 free meditations a week but my yoga studio currently offers a free morning & evening meditations Mon-Fri & 1 every Saturday & Sun* Being that this is FREE, my goal is to get my meditations to a minimum of 100 people. The world needs meditation, now more than ever. It is the only thing that helps to rewire your brain and mental health is crucial for our well being. Share with a friend or family member. If you have never meditated, I encourage you to make the time. It is 15 minutes of your time.
