The feeling of intense joy, a wild party or moment of silence; we are here to capture it in all its beauty. 😁
From first look to the afterparty, this one was unforgettable!
The day started as a hot summer day in June at the beautiful Quail Run Ranch in Newport WA. The cows were mooing and the quails were... "qualing"?
The bride and groom's first interaction of the day was a first touch. These are really beautiful and fun because they get to relieve some of the butterflies and have a private moment, but they still get to have the powerful surprise of walking down the aisle.
The bridal party was full of energy and I could tell that as soon as the sun went down, the dance floor would be lighting up.
A special moment can be noticed in the film as the groom's brother (best man) gives the groom a brotherly side hug as the bride walks down the aisle. The emotions from the ceremony are carried over into heartfelt speeches that'll bring a tear to your eye. Right when you're reaching for a tissue, a surprising roast by the best man lightens the mood and the party kicks off.
To wrap up the night after a wild reception, the party continued in downtown Coeur d Alene.
This wedding was absolutely beautiful and full of precious moments. The day started out with thunder, pouring rain, hail storms and cold summer air. Definitely not optimal wedding weather.
I thought there could be a possibility that this storm could pass and turn into a beautiful day but it didn't look too good. As the day went on the rain passed, it cleared up and turned into a beautiful June afternoon.
Later I would learn how both the bride and groom had overcome very difficult challenges in their lives to get them to this amazing moment where they would be joining families and starting a life together. In the edit, I decided to use the rain and blue skies as a metaphor for the couple making it through their own personal life storms and emerging into a joyful blue sky day. This was truly one to remember!
