We encourage our community to take time today to honor the service of our Vietnam veterans by learning and sharing their stories.

Today we honor the strong, hardworking women who stepped up during World War II, proving that determination and patriotism know no limits. We Can Do It! ❤️🤍 💙 At the VFW Post 4228, in Titusville for a presentation given by Ana to the Veterans, Auxiliary’s and their guests.

On Memorial Day, Americans are encouraged to observe a National Moment of Remembrance at 3:00 p.m. During this time, people pause for one minute of silence to honor those who have died in service to the United States. This tradition is a way to reflect on the sacrifices made by military members and to remember the fallen.

Friends, many of you may not have heard the heartbreaking news due to our FB page being paused for a couple of months, but we lost another precious friend and FEW sister, Jean Grenville, who passed away on March 2nd, and a celebration of life service was held on March 9th. Jean was very active in FEW and held every position in our chapter! Here are some pictures of her life's adventures, her family and FEW sisters.

Congratulations to Janet Petro, Acting NASA Administrator. She will be responsible for directing the agency, until a new administrator is confirmed by the U.S. Senate.

~ Janet Petro had been the 11th director of NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

~ Petro was selected by former Florida Governor Rick Scott for induction in the Florida Women’s Hall of Fame.

~ She was in the second class of U.S Military Academy at West Point to include women.

~ While serving in the Army, she was assigned to the U.S Army's Aviation Branch, where she piloted helicopters.
