Clinton Pride Color Guard

We’re pressing pause on senior recognitions to wish a very happy birthday to one of our incoming rookies! Happy birthday Aubrey🎉

Our next senior in the celebration lineup is Ashlyn Swartz. Ashlyn has spun her sophomore through senior years in the color guard in “Mirage”, “Imagine”, and a featured soloist in “Till Death Do Us Part”. In that time she has performed on flag and air blade. She has served as a captain of the team and our head social media manager who has been creating all of our graphics to post throughout her senior year. She is intuitive and resilient, as well as our inaugural recipient of the National School Color Guard Award for her contributions, dedication, and leadership in her time on the team. Ashlyn plans to attend Missouri State University to major in business administration before getting her real estate license.

She would like to say “If color guard taught me anything, it’s how to smile through absolute chaos.”

It’s that time of year. We’ve celebrated the 2025-2026 year with our end of year banquet, and now we need to celebrate our seniors as they prepare to graduate and go out into the world!

Our first senior of this series is Lydia Stowell. Lydia spun her junior and senior years with the color guard in “Imagine” and “Till Death Do Us Part”. In that time she performed both flag and air blade. She is passionate and determined in all that she does. Lydia plans to attend Missouri State University to major in English as a Second Language Elementary Education.

She would like to say “Don’t be afraid to try new things! You might surprise yourself!”

We’re also thrilled to announce our team for the 2026-2027 year! Congratulations to all of our new and returning members!

It’s May!! We are so excited about our upcoming season, make sure you keep an eye on our important dates coming up!

Audition week is finally here! Everyone will meet up in the high school band room after school and auditions will run each day 3:30-4:30 in the high school gym.
Unless it’s communicated prior, it’s especially important that everyone auditioning is there on May 1st to see everyone all at once!
We can’t wait to see everyone there!

With school letting out early we will not be having clinics today. Stay safe!

Don’t forget next week will be our last round of clinics before auditions at the end of the month!! We have learned lots of skills already so now we’ll be learning the audition combo from our amazing 2025-2026 team members!
