Detroit, right as the day exhales.
This skyline never gets old—the river catching the last light, the city holding its shape between history and what’s coming next. Moments like this are why I do what I do at Apex Perspective: capturing places from angles that remind us how much perspective changes everything.
Whether it’s cities, infrastructure, or landscapes, my goal is simple—clear visuals, thoughtful composition, and a respect for the story already there.

I make my living in the sky and spend my free time chasing light on the ground.
I’m a drone pilot who travels the country 3D-mapping cities — stitching together places from above, one flight at a time. When I’m not flying, I’m still looking… just closer. I’m an amateur photographer, learning as I go, letting curiosity lead.
I’m from Flint, Michigan. That probably explains the mix of grit and playfulness — knowing how to work hard, but never forgetting how to laugh.
This photo isn’t polished or serious. It’s me enjoying the process, being a little ridiculous, and loving the fact that creating can still feel like play.

From above Belle Isle, it’s easy to forget how much this water has carried—commerce, culture, struggle, and connection.

Cities have a way of holding contradictions.
Motion and stillness. Noise and reflection.
Tonight, Atlanta felt like a pause between destinations—cars moving forward, the sun easing down, and the skyline just… being.
Sometimes progress doesn’t look like speed.
Sometimes it looks like showing up, watching the light change, and remembering why you keep going.
