Despite REPEATED requests, these people will not leave me alone and repeatedly harass me! I have not purchased a vehicle from them, I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from them and I CANNOT recommend that anyone do business with them, unless you want to be harassed as well.

A few years ago I tried no hassle internet buying. I received many emails and many more phone calls from dealers. ONLY ONE dealer sent me the no hassle price. I bought my 2014 CRV from garden state for price quoted. ALL other dealers kept calling letting me know they could beat the quoted price. They just could not understand internet no hassle pricing and their poor behavior. Just had service this morning and again four years of good work with pleasant people. I only question why there are always new associates. I always found them to be great. I hope they leave for better opportunities rather than poor management. It is documented that most leave because of bad managers...not bad companies ?

ware of buying Certified PreOwned. I purchased a 2014 Certified PreOwned Honda Pilot, and I purchased the additional bumper to bumper warranty. Back in July I had a minor fender bender, I hit a small parking sign that I did not see as I was pulling out of a spot, front driver's bumper. It was repaired. On November the 7th I heard a grinding sound coming from the transmission. So I brought it in for service. I was subsequently told that there was yellow paint on the tires, and the rubbing from the transmission was due to impact. I was told the control arm was bent and the impact pushed on the inside of the trans, effectively ruining it. So I reopened my claim even though it was very puzzling to me how a small impact like that can bend a control arm and do that kind of damage. I have had no other accidents and do not lend my vehicle out.

AAA then asked it go back to their shop where the impact was initially fixed to see what was going on. Well, the control arm is not "bent" The truck was 1/8 of an inch out of alignment and they were able to easily fix it. They had a transmission specialist come over and check out the rattling from the trans. He assured me in absolutely no way can the damage have been done by impact. The control arm is NOT bent, the axle is not damaged, the knuckle is fine. There is no damage to the outside casing of the trans. I went over and looked at it myself and there is no "obvious impact damage" to the control arm or anything. Bent? It is NOT bent. It was moved forward as if a pot hole was hit or something, and they were able to realign everything.

I am concerned that Honda is trying to back out of honoring it's Certified PreOwned warranty, as well as the additional warranty I have purchased. Of course my insurance company is not going to cover the transmission when by all accounts and multiple mechanics looking at it, it is impossible for the issue to have been from impact. If Honda backs out of warranty repair I am really up a creek.I have 3 kids, 2 are disabled, I CAN NOT afford to be screwed over on something like this. I specifically bought a Certified PreOwned ( more money) and the extra warranty, and good car insurance to specifically protect me from issues like this.

I sincerely hope Garden State Honda rectifies this quickly and puts me back in a loaner car while they do. I am bringing the car back from the auto body to the Garden State Service Center tomorrow a.m.

I intend to take it as far as possible and quite publicly if Honda does not honor their Certified PreOwned warranty.

They are liars and don't even look for the real problem, they just go ahead and say we'll just pad the bill. I will tell everyone I know never to go to your service station ever. Unless they want the wrong parts.
