Taking a few minutes to thank everyone for the very thoughtful birthday wishes. I am blessed and must thank God for allowing me another trip around the sun, for a healthy, happy family, for blessing the pivots I have made in my life and for allowing me to be apart of two villages that are thriving. Please help me congratulate two of my villages.

Several of my students graduated Saturday from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Our Mock Trial captain was the student speaker and, as predicted, she gave a fantastic speech outlining her journey through law school. The other members of the Championship Team also graduated and I am so proud of all of them.

The second half of my day was spent in Columbus, cheering my grandson (8th grade) to victory in the State Championship Meet. He came in 4th in the 100, 2nd in the 200 and 1st in the 400. His time in the 400 was the fastest time in the State this year for Middle school. His earned points helped to bring the boys team the State Championship. Later that evening he showed me his grades-all A’s and one B.

I thank God everyday for allowing me to be apart of these villages. I am so proud of my grandson and my students. One of the best birthdays ever!!

I would like to humbly thank the voters of Cuyahoga County for your overwhelming support in giving me the opportunity to serve on the Court of Common Pleas-General Division.

On Saturday, I began my day at the Annual Beachwood Invitational Track Meet. My granddaughter ran in the fun run event. Although she was a little smaller than the rest on the field, she showed her big heart in finishing the race.

I then stopped at The Nelson to celebrate and support our 2026 democratic candidates. Loved the speeches, camaraderie, and support for our candidates!!!

I ended the night with the end of the year party with my mock trial team. Love them……..period!!

I had a wonderful time at the honorable Leo M. Spellacy Bellarmine Award luncheon on Thursday afternoon. The 2026 recipient was Patrick Murphy, St. Ignatius class of 1967. His contribution to the legal community and his dedication to his family and his faith are inspiring.
