What’s going to be on your table tonight?

One meal we enjoyed this week was 👇🏽

We had cabbage casserole (my great-grandmother’s recipe ), fresh garden turnips and greens, squash, peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, sauerkraut, pinto beans, cornbread, and fried potatoes.

I’d love to hear—what’s on your table tonight? 😊

ONLY 1 left!

🐈 We have a couple of kittens left looking for their forever homes!

These sweet babies have been handled daily by my children and are very friendly playful, and used to people. They are eating food on their own and doing great!

Ready for pickup Monday, June 15th.

Message me if you’re interested or would like more information!

What was on your table tonight?

We enjoyed fresh garden bell peppers stuffed with chorizo sausage, onions, cheese, garlic, cilantro, and rice, served with homemade sourdough garlic bread and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Are you really raising feral kids if they aren't playing house in their little playhouse putting chickens in a baby bassinet and treating them like part of the family?

✨🐣🥚🥚As a small thank-you to our community we’re giving away 4 dozen fresh eggs! 🥚 🐣🐣 ✨

If you know us you know this is one of our favorite times of the year. There’s something so special about watching everything come to life and seeing the garden begin to grow.

We are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with a little piece of land where we can grow healthy food for our family and share with others in our community. Last year we were able to give away quite a bit of produce and we are praying the Lord allows us to do the same again this year. We know every seed that grows and every harvest we gather is because of His goodness and provision.

This year our garden is filled with beans, peas, okra, popcorn, peanuts, corn, tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, beets, radishes, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, onions, carrots, strawberries, lots of herbs, and plenty of beautiful flowers. We also have blueberry bushes, blackberry bushes, apple trees, and peach trees. Although, if we’re being honest, the blueberries and blackberries rarely make it into the house before our kids find them! 😊

We are excited to see what the season brings and are grateful for the opportunity to steward what God has given us. Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to bless the work of our hands so that we can not only provide for our family but also share with others in our community.
