Some BIG changes are coming to Civitan Inclusive Park.🦒🦒🦒This playground has been designed to accommodate people of all abilities and features some new wheelchair friendly pieces. When complete, this park will feature expanded parking, sidewalks for getting your steps in, new playground equipment, and some new faces!

We can’t wait to show you what we have been working on this summer at Civitan Inclusive Park! Work continues, but here is a sneak peek. Crews are hard at work to make sure this park is more inclusive and fun for the whole family! More to come soon.

Ninety-six years ago on June 10, 1927, construction began at the Hotel Cherokee. The 7 story hotel opened less than a year later. Originally designed by architect James J. Exciting news! The City of Cleveland has met the requirements of the State of Tennessee to maintain our own electrical inspection program. Previously the permit was obtained through the State, but this process is now maintained locally. Effective today, July 1, 2020, the City of Cleveland will now issue all electrical permits for any work that is performed inside the Cleveland Utilities service area. If you have previously obtained a state electrical permit prior to this date, that permit is still valid and your project will be completed under that existing permit.
