Hey CleanSweep Carpet Solutions family! 👋 We know you love a fresh, clean carpet as much as we do. But sometimes, spills happen when we least expect them. No worries! Here are some quick DIY spot cleaning tricks to tide you over until our next visit:


1. **ACT FAST! ** - Whenever you’re troubled with another spill, instead of staring at it in disappointment while you think of all the ways this situation could have been avoided, grab a clean cloth and don’t give the spill a chance to settle into your carpet. The longer dirt, debris, and liquids sit, the more they get embedded into the fibers of your carpet, making them harder to get out.

2. **BLOT, DON’T RUB! ** - Gently dab spills with a clean cloth to absorb as much as possible, without spreading the stain.

3. **DIY CLEANING SOLUTION** - Mix 1/4 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with 1 cup warm water. Apply sparingly to the stain, then rinse and blot dry.

4. **SODA TO THE RESCUE** - Believe it or not, club soda works wonders on wine and beer stains! Apply a little to the stain, then blot.
