People ask why pest control has to be quarterly. Can't you just treat once and be done?
Here's the honest answer: pest pressure never stops. Especially in a place like Houston. π
Three things keep the pressure on year round here:
π‘οΈ Heat. Our warm climate means pests stay active in seasons that would slow them down almost anywhere else.
π§οΈ Rain. Every storm floods sewers and soil, pushing roaches, ants, and mosquitoes toward higher ground, which is often your home.
ποΈ Construction. Constant building disturbs established colonies and sends them looking for a new place to settle, and a nearby house works just fine.
A one-time treatment handles what's there today. It does nothing about the wave coming next month. Quarterly service keeps a protective barrier in place and lets us catch new activity before it becomes an infestation you can see.
It's the difference between reacting to pests and staying ahead of them.
We put our entomologist to work so you don't have to think about any of this. What would you ask a bug expert if you had the chance? Drop it below. π

π SPOT THE SIGN: Do you know what this means?
Look closely at that ductwork. Those aren't random smudges. They're prints and greasy trails left behind by something moving through the attic on a regular path.
The clues:
ποΈ Marks that look almost like little handprints
π’οΈ Dark, greasy smears where oily fur rubs the same route again and again
π§ Torn or flattened insulation and damaged ducts along the way
π Noises overhead at night: heavy footsteps, scratching, thumping
Put it together and you've got a raccoon. They get into attics through roof gaps, soffits, and vents, then set up a travel route you can literally see once the dust builds up.
This is more than a nuisance. Raccoons chew wiring, shred ductwork and insulation, and leave droppings that can carry parasites and disease.
Seeing marks like these or hearing movement overhead in North Houston? Let us find how they're getting in and shut it down.
Don't want to deal with roaches, wasps, spiders, ants, or termites? Quarterly pest control is your answer. π
It's a pest professional on your team all year round, inspecting, preventing, and removing when needed, so the everyday pests never get the chance to settle in. You stay ahead of them instead of reacting every time one shows up.
In the North Houston area? FullScope Pest Control has you covered.

π·οΈ PEST ID OF THE WEEK
If you've walked face-first into a web on your porch this month, there's a good chance this is who built it.
Big round abdomen, hairy legs, hanging dead center in a perfectly round web that seems to reappear every night across your doorway or eaves. As the season turns, these get large and very noticeable, which is why they suddenly seem to be everywhere.
The good news: it's harmless. Not aggressive, not dangerous to you or your pets, and it spends all night eating the mosquitoes and gnats you'd rather not have around anyway. Mostly it's just startling. Nobody loves a surprise web to the face on the way to the car.
So what is it? This is an orb weaver, the classic fall spider in North Houston.
If the webs around your doors and windows are getting out of hand, that's usually a sign of what they're feeding on nearby. We can treat the perimeter and cut down the bugs drawing them in.

It's peak wasp season in North Houston, and the nests are as full as they'll get all year.
That quiet nest under your eave in May could be housing well over 100 wasps right now. π
Why it matters this month:
πΊ More wasps per nest means more defenders if one gets disturbed
πͺ Nests are tucked in high-traffic spots: door frames, patio covers, playsets, grills
π‘οΈ Warm weather keeps them active and foraging into the fall
π‘ One bumped nest near the patio can turn a backyard cookout into a scramble inside
Paper wasps aren't out to get you, but they will defend the nest, and this is the time of year when there are the most of them to do it.
If you're seeing steady wasp traffic to one spot around the house, don't wait it out. Let us handle the removal before someone gets stung!
