Cuyahoga County is seeking performers for the June 27th Rediscover Veterans Memorial Bridge public event on the lower deck of the Detroit-Superior Bridge.
Specifically, they are looking for busker-style performances by individual artists or groups of 3 or fewer people, during 2-hour-long daytime slots at multiple points on the bridge.
Artists or groups will be compensated $500 per 2-hour timeslot, and will also be able to collect tips and promote their work during what is expected to be a very well-attended event. This is an all-ages event, so performances should be planned accordingly.
With that consideration, all local musicians are welcomed to submit a proposal. Find more details and instructions on how to apply in the document in my stories!

CWK Network has released its documentary : Children at the Crossroads of Change” on all TVOD platforms. This film takes audiences inside the nation’s largest school systems to see and hear the untold stories of educators and students who are the center of a culture war in our nation’s schools. The battle threatens over 3,000,000 educators, over 50,000,000 students, and potentially has the most harmful impact on students of color.
Historically, marginalized communities are more likely to fail than succeed. Our Black and Brown students have now become the majority of America’s youth, creating a seismic shift in numbers, beliefs, and culture.
