Unique (and crazy) engineering projects, boosted cars, and your eye in the sky 🎥
As someone with a very heavy focus in Engineering, I wanted to have an “official” outlet to just create, show, and post the various projects I am working on!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!! HERE WE COME!!! The Shootout
At 11PM last night we are back and have life breathing through this car, healthy oil pressure, and wiring buttoned up this time - it’s time to get on the road to The Shootout now 🔥

The engine is back in the car! Had some helping hands today.
Last thing that was done was a pressure test of the coolant system, and confirmed a crack in the water pipe. Will figure out a solution in the morning but if you have a 1g water pipe let me know!
Until I can switch to locking intercooler clamps, I have fresh hoses and clamps, and a pipe dimpler/roller to ensure best sealing for the charge pipe system.
The last test hits before this minor rebuild were on wastegate pressure of 12psi, getting around 26psi of boost - as soon as I fire back up, will connect back with Langetuned with a new log.
Everything else here will bolt right in to place, so getting this water pipe sealed is the current roadblock to move.
I also am getting a catch pan sorted out.
Steps closer to The Shootout!

We have the engine mostly together! Going to tackle the oil pan and rear main seal with Ultra Grey RTV as recommended, have to clean up the oil pan bolts and we’re good to keep the show going 💪🏽
Road to The Shootout we’re not stopping 🔧

My most involved project yet, the beast at hand is my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T! This journey started in 2017, with this last year being extensive undertaking to rebuild the car from the ground up 🔧
Follow along with me as start the story from day I got the car, all the way up to today as we scramble for The Shootout!
This Thursday I will be releasing the first video in the series that covers Day 1 (nov 2017) up to last July 2025, the day it truly went under for deep work.
I’ll share tons of pictures over the next few weeks as I continue logging the endless hours of work (and over 700GB of footage )
