Operation Open Heart is saddened to report and continues to mourn the loss of Thomas P. Dunegan, who passed away last month. Tom was a lifetime member and past president of our organization. A proud Navy veteran and retired police officer, Tom dedicated his life to service, both in uniform and through his commitment to our mission. We had an amazing turnout this morning at our Breakfast with Santa. Thank you to everyone who bundled up and braved the cold to support our organization, and to Amvets Post 32 Elyria for hosting us and for their continued partnership. Mornings like this remind us what the holiday season is truly about: community, kindness, and compassion.
