We had another incredible evening last night at the Family Ministry Center. Over 50 neighbors gathered for the west side screening of Emanuel: The untold story of the victims and survivors of the Charleston Church Shooting.

Thank you for participating in this journey, whether you engaged for one night or all of them, online or in person. We hope and pray that Jesus continues to reconcile all things in Cleveland, starting with his people to himself.

TONIGHT'S KEYNOTE: REV. ANTHONY THOMPSON will bring us his story of pain, loss, forgiveness and healing in Jesus. Thompson lost his wife in the 2015 Charleston Church Shooting at the hands of white supremacist, Dylann Roof.

Heal The Land is an event series saturated and covered in prayer.

On stage, we pray.
Off stage, we pray.
When everyone is looking, we pray.
When nobody’s looking, we pray.

We continuously celebrate and invite God’s presence into this place and into our city.

We hold our plans loosely, placing our hope in the Spirit’s incredible knack for holy interruption. As Bethany put it yesterday... “Holy Spirit, we know you are a party animal, so please, do what you do.”

The Rev. Dr. Johannes J. Christian was the founding Pastor of The Adoration and Peace Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Christian now Pastor Emeritus of Adoration and Peace Baptist Church and CEO of Face of Forgiveness LLC.The Face of Forgiveness LLC derived from the ministry of the Adoration and Peace Baptist Church, Anti-bullying and Non-violent ministry.

Rev. Christian, who was severely injured in a rock throwing incident by a troubled youth, has developed a tenacity and passion to nullify bullying behaviors in our communities with the emphasis focused on the youth. Through Dr. Christian's personal conviction to forgive, the anti-bullying program has gained much momentum and forgiveness is it's central focus.
