We made it!!!

The James ‘Dustin’ Samples Act passed both the house and the senate and is headed to Gov Lee’s desk

Thank you to the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association and Lindsey Spain for their hard work, countless hours and many conversations with the assembly that lead to this monumental event!! Thank you to everyone who share our posts, shared your own story, and supported those who struggle with PTSD. TN spoke loud today… we see you and we support you. It’s okay not to be okay

Thankful for all the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association has done to get the James ‘Dustin’ Samples Act here!! Successful day in Nashville today as the bill was unanimously voted in favor to move forward. It was an honor to speak before the committees and to stand alongside firefighters from across Tennessee as we bring PTSD awareness and support to the spotlight.

More work to come, but today we celebrate a success. It’s time to protect those who protect us.

The flags are coming together tomorrow!! Thank you to all the departments, locals, firefighters, families, community members and leaders who have joined in on our Walk For Dustin 2023. There is no denying the need for this bill and the support it has across this state.

We will see you in Nashville!!!

The west TN flag has made it to Jackson Firefighters Association Local 1850 where it is gaining more signatures and more support for the James Dustin Samples Act.

For anyone struggling with PTSD, look at these flags, all these signatures, and know you’re not alone. You’ve got an entire state behind you.

'Walk for Dustin' flag travels Tennessee - WBBJ TV JACKSON, Tenn. – The 303 Project Flag representing Cpt. James "Dustin" Samples is making its way across the state.

The Middle TN Flag arrived in Franklin!! Franklin Firefighters will walk more than a marathon to raise awareness of firefighter PTSD

The Franklin Fire Department and the Franklin Firefighters Association will join forces for a two-day, 27.3-mile walk – just over one mile more than a marathon – to raise awareness of the mental wellness needs of firefighters. The route and schedule will take them to all eight fire stations throughout the City of Franklin.

Thank you to the Cities and Counties subcommittee for their support of the James "Dustin" Samples Bill in today's session. Thank you for recognizing the importance of taking care of Tennessee's fire fighters so they can continue to take care of Tennessee!

The full committee meets next Tuesday at 1:30. Keep spreading the word!

Spring Hill added their names and support behind the Middle Tennessee flag today. The flag is getting full of signatures and still have a few more stops on the way to Nashville!

The East Tennessee flag passed between Lebanon and Wilson Co. on the next steps towards Nashville. The flag gathered more signatures at each stop including the mayor of each!!
