the Mercy Chapter is a heavy southern rock band from Cleveland TN!
The last month has been rough. I spent all of it back and forth from the hospital with my mom, who endured more pain than I thought humanly possible. The last few days of the whole thing we found out she had stage 4 lung cancer and it spread to her liver. My wonderful and beautiful mom passed away Friday night. What I'd like to say is this, it was her that introduced me to rock n roll, it was her records that sent me on my journey. Thank you mom for the great music and even greater memories! There will never be another like you!
For the time being I'm taking care of family stuff, but we will be back in a week or two and bring you the new music we promised. Thanks for being patient and thank you for all the support on my personal page.

Fortress Insane the mercy chapter - fortress insane
We've made a lot of progress in rehearsals the last 4 weeks. We've only been able to get together 2 hours a week and we have already brushed up and tightened up the old stuff, and I'd dare say tighter than ever, and we have something new thats about 90% ready. I hope to post something from rehearsal over the next couple weeks just to give y'all a glimpse at what we have been up to.. also, we might try to do a couple shows late spring or early summer. We will keep you posted!
RIP Gary Rossington!! Gotta say I'm heartbroken, Lynyrd Skynyrd is one of the main influences in our music. The first cover we ever did was on the hunt, but their stamp is all over most of what we do. When people remark they hear southern rock in our music, I usually remark, you hear Skynyrd in our music!! Thanks for the music Gary!! You'll be missed!
New mercy chapter music is on the way!!! Yep that's right!!! We are working up two new songs, one of them is the fastest and heaviest song we've ever done!! 2023 is gonna be a monster of a year!!

I'm very grateful for the support and kind words y'all have shown us since we cranked this beast up again. It's great to be back at it again! We've only practiced twice but we have already dusted off all the old material, a couple of them are even better than ever. I just want to say thank you to everyone for this overwhelming love and support y'all have shown! I can't wait to jump up on stage and share this thing we've got with you all once again!! . love you all!
