A Resin To Play

Black History Month is right around the corner, and I’m kicking it off with a special contest!
Answer the following questions correctly, and your name will be entered into a drawing to win this beautiful resin tray! Accepting answers until Wed. Feb. 4th.

#1-Who didn’t take no stuff, wasn’t afraid of nothin’ either, didn’t come in this world to be no slave, and wasn’t gonna die one either?

Spoken with rhythm, strength, and soul.
I celebrate a woman who walks in confidence,
Not because of looks — but because of who she knows she is.
My words come from a woman who rose from pain to power,
A poet, a dancer, a voice for justice.

#3- This comes from a poet (among other things) who gave voice to the cabin, turning everyday speech into lasting art.

Dedicating this one to all the warriors in the battle, survivors, and those whose memory we will always hold near and dear to our hearts. It’s not October but we still need to get those mammograms done. Missed October but I got it done. Early detection is the key. So go get er done ladies. 💋
