If the tile work looks sketchy, assume that the rest of the work is sketchy as well. We gutted this nightmare bathroom today. The subfloor was sopping wet as the shower drain was installed seriously wrong, the sink vent went to nowhere, and there was even a cut in half live wire waiting for us behind the wall...

Not every bathroom needs a tile shower to feel like a major upgrade. Decorative shower panels and pans can do for showers what vinyl planks have done for flooring.

This is a DIY wall sconce I made out of little parts you can buy at . The parts are spray painted to match using metallic finish paint (make sure to top coat the paint with several clear layers to protect the finish from smudging and scratching when touched).
