Drift into island time 🌴⛵️
This one-of-a-kind hand embroidered sailing scene was inspired by turquoise water, quiet coves, and the feeling of chasing the wind between tiny islands. Stitched by hand on linen using layered thread painting techniques, this miniature seascape is set in an antique bronze bezel on an embossed leather magnetic bracelet.
A tiny wearable reminder of salt air, sunlit sails, and slow adventures at sea.

Some pieces carry a little more than thread and fabric. 🌿
This hand-embroidered hosta pendant was created as a special request for a woman whose beloved dog used to curl up and nap beneath the hostas in her garden. The soft lavender blooms and layered green leaves were stitched to capture not just the plant itself, but the memory tucked inside it.
Embroidered by hand on linen and set in a warm hardwood pendant, this tiny piece became a wearable reminder of quiet summer afternoons, shade-covered naps, and the love we still carry long after they’re gone.
Sometimes the smallest pieces hold the biggest stories. 💚

Between milkweed blooms and tiny stitches, a monarch’s story unfolds. 🦋
Hand embroidered on linen and set within a carved wooden leaf pendant, this one-of-a-kind piece captures both the butterfly and caterpillar stages of the monarch life cycle — a quiet reminder of transformation, resilience, and the beauty found in small details.
Every stitch was placed by hand using thread painting, long and short stitches, and tiny French knots to bring the milkweed blossoms to life. Inspired by the wild places of Tennessee and created to be worn as a small heirloom of nature. 🌿
This piece will be available this weekend at Blue Ridge Arts in the Park. If you’d rather not wait, you can snap it up now at www.OcoeeThreads.com

Tiny lily of the valley blooms, stitched by hand into wearable heirlooms. 🤍
These miniature embroidered pendants were inspired by one of my favorite woodland flowers — delicate little bells that symbolize purity, renewal, sweetness, and the return of happiness.
Each pendant is hand embroidered on linen using fine thread painting techniques and framed in a 20x30mm oval setting on a 20” petite paperclip chain. Available in stainless steel and 18k gold plated stainless steel.
I love creating these tiny botanical studies and turning them into pieces that can be worn and treasured for years to come.
Which finish would you choose — silver or gold? ✨

Monarch in Milkweed II
This second interpretation found its home at the 4 Bridges Art Festival, alongside the first.
A quiet moment in the monarch lifecycle,
threaded wing to wandering caterpillar,
stitched into linen and held in carved wood.
Each bloom built slowly with tiny French knots, each leaf shaped stitch by stitch, until the scene feels like it could move.
Milkweed isn’t just a backdrop… it’s survival.
It’s where the story begins.
And now, this one continues its journey with someone new. 🧡
Would you want to see a third version in butterfly milkweed, the one with bright orange blooms?
