Cunningham Signature Services

Notary history is actually a little messy… and I LOVE that for today’s lesson. 😂🖋️

Before the stamp, before the seal, before somebody handed us 150 pages and said “sign here, here, initial here…” 😭 people STILL needed somebody they could trust to document what mattered.

We’re talking ancient Egypt, Rome, colonial America… baby, notaries have been outside. 😂

Different centuries. Different tools. Same assignment: integrity, accuracy & trust.

And apparently our history even includes a little scandal 👀 because Thomas Fugill?! Sir. 😂 Swipe because we need to discuss.

🍂 Notary Topic of the Day: Where, when & WHY notaries exist.

Save this one for your random “actually, did you know…” moment. 😂🖋️

Because apparently back-to-school shopping wasn’t enough… now the form needs to be notarized too. 😂✏️📚

And it’s not just a first-day-of-school thing! Throughout the year, families may run into residency, caregiver, transportation, athletics, travel, or other authorization forms that require notarization.

It matters because schools need important permissions and signatures properly documented. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

So when your child pulls that paper out at 8:47 PM talking about, “Oh yeah, I need this tomorrow…” 😭😂

Here for the school-year paperwork too!

Save this one, parents. That backpack WILL produce surprise paperwork. 😂

🩺 Today’s Random Notary Topic: Healthcare Directives

Basically… it’s your voice on paper. 👏🏾

A healthcare directive helps make your wishes clear if you ever can’t speak for yourself.

Who makes decisions?
What care do you want?
What DON’T you want? 👀

My job is to notarize properly — not make the decisions for you. 💅🏾

Planning ahead isn’t negative. It’s responsible.

Need a healthcare directive notarized? 👀 Don’t wait until it’s an emergency. DM me “DIRECTIVE” and let’s get that signature handled. 💅🏾🖊️ this is your sign to handle it!

🪪 TODAY’S NOTARY FACT: BRING 👏🏾 YOUR 👏🏾 ID! 😂

Identification isn’t me being difficult — it’s part of protecting you, your signature, and your documents. Period.

Before I arrive:

Random notary fact because somebody has to tell y’all 😂✍🏾

A notary is not your lawyer I’m not here to explain what your paperwork means.

What I am going to do is make sure YOU are really YOU, you’re signing willingly, and the notarization is handled correctly. ✅

Basically… you bring the paperwork, your ID, and yourself. I’ll handle the stamp. 😂💚

Swipe through class is in session, but I promise I won’t give homework. 😂

A notary isn’t there to tell you what your document means — we’re there to help verify who is signing, that they’re signing willingly, and complete the notarization properly. 🖊️📄

8 years in and somehow I’m JUST now realizing… girl, you are not new to this 😂🖊️

I’ve been a Notary since 2018, and one thing about me — I’m going to show up, figure it out, and take care of my client. 🤎

Now I finally put a business behind it. 🥹👏🏾

More than a stamp. It’s service with care.

I’m Tati the Notary — apparently a veteran now. 😂
