Today we had the pleasure of having a special meal for the guests of Beechwood Inn Bed and Breakfast a beautiful place in Clayton to rest and enjoy a pleasant vacation.

We made arepas for them with different fillings, delicious cachapas and some extraordinary “tequeños” (cheese sticks) and honestly it was incredible.

It is a pleasure for us to make your meeting or party a special and different day. In the end, the best thing of all is hearing: “it was delicious”

Why did we choose the name “La Chama”?

Chama is a colloquial or friendly expression used in Venezuela to refer to a woman.

You can use this term to call any woman you know who was born in Venezuela if you want to approach her and break the ice to become her friend.

Hello! My name is Yormary Colmenares, I am Venezuelan, married and mother of three wonderful children, I immigrated to Clayton with my family five years ago and today I want to tell you about this business that we decided to start in this beautiful place.

My passion is cooking and serving others, and this has motivated me to go to another level, and that is to show you a little bit of my culture through our gastronomy which is also full of delicious dishes.

And on second thought, why not give you the chance to try something different or maybe something new? What could I lose? Nothing! Finally there are always people looking for something new, to know new cultures, flavors and this time I want to introduce you to ours!
So I want you to feel happy to try our arepas and some other authentic Venezuelan dishes.

At the moment, we don't have a place for you to come and sit comfortably but believe me we are making it possible, step by step and making each process a success.
