Pictured here is cut apples, pistachios, and a 1/2 pack of their hot cereal (a little goes a long way - 1 pack makes two servings for me) warmed in almond milk with a dash of cinnamon on top - SO GOOD!

Had an easy (and DELICIOUS) lunch today! This was cut up organic beets (available at HMM) 1/2 an organic avocado, a dash of ACV, and a dash of pink himalayan salt. It. Was. Soooo good!!
Whole30 doesn’t have to be hard. And it definitely can feel overwhelming at times, but try and stick to the basics - whole fruit & veggies, lean grass-fed meats, and nuts & seeds (not peanuts). That’s a whole lot of food that you can get creative with and enjoy!
Try switching your thoughts from “I can’t have that” to “this is what I can have” and it will make a big difference in your outlook

Well friends, we made it through two days without power and managed to stay on track!! Our power was restored late yesterday, so this morning I treated myself to a delicious breakfast using kielbasa and a slice of turkey bacon, with locally raised eggs and an avocado sprinkled with black pepper and a little bit of pink Himalayan salt - it. was. DELICIOUS!! 🤤
How did everybody do? Was everybody able to stay on track? What kind of struggles did you have?
The good news is, we’re a little over half-way through!! Good job y’all, let’s keep going and finish STRONG!!💪

Tonight we made Italian sausage and roasted garlic marinara sauce zucchini boats and they were 🔥🔥
I love that we can order compliant Italian sausage from Pederson Farms!! Their meats are so good, and good for you! Then mix it with Primal Kitchen’s marinara and it’s on!!
These were super easy to make. Cut zucs lengthwise, spoon out the seeds, fill the middle with the sausage/sauce and cook in the oven at 350 for 20 mins. Then turn oven off and turn on high broil for 1-2 minutes until the meat is starting to brown. Dinner is served! 😋

After the long night last night watching the National Championship Game, I needed something fresh and colorful for lunch! 🥗
This salad hit the spot!! I love crisp, fresh salads topped with all different flavors - olives for a salty touch, beets for a little sweetness, and tomatoes for a nice acidic touch, then a small piece of smoked meat from my Sat night dinner with friends - DELISH, and so quick and easy to make!!

Did something fun for dinner last night since the Bulldogs were playing in the Natty (which we won - GO DAWGS!! 🏆👏)
These tenders are dipped in almond milk, then coated with almond and flax meal, then baked in the oven - and the fries were cut and baked, and then both were put in the oven on high broil for a minute or so to crisp them up a little bit - DELICIOUS!! 😋
I then made the egg-less mayo with my food processor and used it as a base to create a ranch dip (trying to avoid eggs bc Mitch has an intolerance to them). This ranch dip was so good y’all…the flavor was so well rounded due to the slight sweetness/creaminess from the coconut butter and then the ranch seasoning set it off perfectly!! Give it a try! Super easy to make!

Tonight we went to over to and house for a Whole30 potluck dinner (W30D6M3). It was delicious!! Mitch and I made salad and brought crockpot baked sweet potatoes. brought oven-roasted brussels, and Jessica and Kristen made the most amazing smoked and stewed meats!! Not to mention the roasted mixed nuts and bacon wrapped dates we had for an appetizer!
What a great way to spend time with friends, and eating clean! Thanks Jessica and Kristen - it was so much fun! 😘

Hey everybody, how we doing today - Day 4? I gotta say, yesterday was ROUGH for me…slight headache all day, extremely fatigued and tired, and just overall blah…
It made me think about the Whole30 timeline, which is why I wanted to share it with all of you. This has been really helpful tool for me when I’ve done a Whole30 in the past. It helps me know that how I’m feeling (physically and mentally) is “normal”. It keeps me focused and let’s me know that I’m not alone 💛

Todays lunch was cabbage leaf wraps with oven roasted chicken, pickle chips, and sliced avocado and dannnng was it delicious!!😋
Meals do not have to be hard or fancy, they can be simple, 4 ingredient meals too🙌🏼
Make sure that you check ALL the labels - these pickle chips were Whole30 compliant, however the spears and whole pickles were not

How did everyone’s first day go?
For many of us living up here in Rabun, I imagine today was kinda tough - lost power, trees down, snow/ice…I hope everyone is staying safe and warm out there - that storm was crazy last night!! 😟
If you weren’t able to start today, no worries, bc guess what?! You can start tomorrow or any day this week. It’s best to make sure you’re in a good place mentally/emotionally to start so that you can best prep/prepare not only with food, but with your mindset 💛
This is W30D1M3 and it was so simple and yet so delicious!! We did oven baked chicken breasts topped with cracked peppercorn, steamed broccoli, sautéed zucchini & yellow squash, and mashed potatoes with ghee from (swipe to see 👀)

We’ve got three days to get prepped and ready for a successful Whole30 (today, tomorrow, and Sunday if you’re starting on Monday 1/03)👏
I have so many books that have valuable information and yummy recipes! I’m going to be making meals from the Whole30 books and posting step by step “follow along” pictures to make this easy for y’all!!😋
I’m hoping to have the Whole30 books available for purchase at HMM in the next week or two, so keep an eye out for their arrival!!✨
In the mean time, I will have my books at the store for y’all to look through and take pictures of recipes until the books get here
