OUT FOR DELIVERY! So, Pashka’s daughter came across Dessert First at Rivage Day Spa. She grabbed a business card, and went home to share her findings with her mom. Just days later I’m getting a call asking if she can place an order! We pulled together a pan of Date Bars, a pan of Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl Bars (remember those from The Office?), and our famous DJ’s Carrot Cake w/Cream Cheese Frosting (always sold out of that back in our farmers market days!). In December of 2021, TOCS hosted their first ever “Market After Dark” - a collection of small businesses wanting to get some exposure to the local community. We had a BLAST! And apparently the customers and the coffee shop liked what they saw (and tasted!) that night. My good friend, Rodel, reached out just after the new year and said the coffee shop wanted to talk to me about possibly selling Dessert First goods at the shop. WHAT??!! And on 4/2/2022, our partnership was born! For four wonderful years, I had the privilege of creating recipes to pair with monthly brew specials, helping one off customers with special orders, and fostering an incredible relationship with the management team at TOCS. While I am very sad, like many of you, to see the coffee shop close 😢, I am more grateful that I even had the opportunity to share their space. We became well known for our cheesecake bars, our marshmallow bars, and of course, the snickerdoodle cookies! So much gratitude going out to Mike and Brooke, and Kortnee and Rodel and the whole team for supporting us, connecting with us, and loving us. ❤️ BRAVO to you all and congratulations on an incredible run!

DJ’s CARROT CAKE!! A staple with Dessert First, but new to The Office, arriving later today! This delicious cake is loaded with all of the traditional yummies…carrots, raisins, pineapple, and walnuts, along with a blend of spice accents and topped with a vanilla cream cheese frosting 😋 We found this sweet treat will pair just perfectly with any of the coffee shop’s monthly drink specials! So, Sonia found us during a recent visit to . She fell in love with our treats, especially the banana bread! The wonderful concierge at Rivage provided her with a business card and she reached out! She ordered up a large loaf of Banana Walnut - and text us saying “OMG, it tastes just like my Grandma’s used to!” A few days later, she ordered a large loaf of Plain Banana for her family. Thank you Sonia! We’re so happy you found us, and enjoy our sweet treats that are “…so tasty, you’d think they came from Grandma’s kitchen”! 😋. We were BUS-Y last week!! Thank you for the connection to WEA and to Lisa and the organization for choosing and entrusting a small local business to create the dessert buffet for the scholarship raffle night!

On top of that, yesterday afternoon we took fresh Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl Bars and a new batch of giant Snickerdoodles to The Office Coffee Shop, as well as new batches of our Mini Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies and our Delightful Date Bars to the !!
