Get Back On

A lesson I learned along the way ! Each one of these people helped us in some way ! Some with small needs others with big needs ! No questions asked, just needs met! Often times above and beyond needs met ! No one asked what our faith ,religion or political views were prior to providing those needs! They saw a human in need and filled it. There are still wonderful people in this world from all walks of life and I am grateful to God and forever changed for putting each one of these people in our paths!

Day seven- we woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the Bob Evans Farm ! Breakfast at the restaurant was the best ever ,after not having breakfast for a whole week !! Then we asked two plumbers ,Steve Stinson and Brody Carter, if we could borrow a drill to repair the stall that Taw damaged rubbing her big butt on. Got to formerly meet Chris Williams ,the general manager of Bob Evans Farms. She has a big heart for animals and a very generous spirit ❤️ We did not end up riding from Bob Evans to my parents , due to the danger of the roads. We trailered to my parents and rode to the back of my parents property ! It has been 50 years since I have been there and it is just as beautiful as I remember ! I even found the old sandstone well that I fell into as a kid. My first horse Rebel and I traveled back there many times. It was a magical and fitting end to my Get Back On ride 💕

Day six ! Well the morning started off with a visitor to the barn ,a pig, which the horses totally did not appreciate ! Same pig has been in a civil war reenactment leading the charge !! 😅 (see picture ) Houston picked us up around 9:30 am and dropped us off past the major highways and we headed off ! It was quite the ride around 15 miles with post holes,quick sand, dogs chasing us ,cattle bridges ,heavy traffic ,bushwhacking through woods and creek ( we had the help of a local Dan Davies for some impromptu directions when trapped ) and finally traveling through Rio Grande College to get to our final destination at Bob Evans Farms. The arena is still there that I had my first horse show with my horse Rebel as a 15 year old girl ! Memories 🤗 We ended the night having dinner with my family at Bob Evans Restaurant. Thank you Lord for another day ! 🤗
