Impact
Impact is the social entrepreneurship club at Claremont McKenna College, designed by and for students! Do you care about the world around you?
Our mission is to train, support, connect and empower CMC students to maximize their ability to create the change they wish to see in the world. Does just caring, and not actually doing, seem problematic to you? Do you ever wonder how you could affect change in areas like climate change, food insecurity, and access to education, to name a few? If you answered yes, then Impact is the club for you.

Wondering what environmental justice is? Watch Majora Carter explain as she sheds light on the intersectionality between socioeconomic and environmental issues.
"Unfortunately, race and class are extremely reliable indicators as to where one might find the good stuff, like parks and trees, and where one might find the bad stuff, like power plants and waste facilities. As a black person in America, I am twice as likely as a white person to live in an area where air pollution poses the greatest risk to my health." Click play to hear more!
