SPCA is all about building relationships to create community partners.
Our newest group, Summit Funding, volunteered recently and spent the morning loving on a number of our 4-legged friends, as well as helped to make dog enrichment.
We laughed, had fun, and accomplished so much together! Thank you Summit Funding Group for all your hard work!
We take in a lot of dogs from St. Lucia at SPCA Cincinnati, but none quite like Thelma.
Thelma was an instant staff favorite when she arrived at the shelter, but how could she not be?? 😍 This gentle girl has the sweetest, softest, and squishiest face we've ever seen, and would be an amazing couch companion for someone with a slower lifestyle!
Come give Thelma a visit today! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to Fergthebikedude for his incredible $1,200 donation to SPCA Cincinnati!
Through his continued generosity and dedication to turning donated bikes into support for animals in need, he is making a lasting impact on our lifesaving mission.
Every dollar matters, and we are deeply grateful for community champions like Chris who help give animals a second chance.
Microchips are one of the most effective ways to help reunite lost pets with their families.
Even the most well-behaved pets can unexpectedly slip out a door or escape a fenced yard.
That's why we highly recommend microchipping all pets, regardless of their lifestyle. A microchip provides an extra layer of protection and can make all the difference in helping your pet find their way home safely. 🏡🐾
🐾 Meet Bridget! 🐾
Bridget is our island girl from St. Lucia, and she brings plenty of sunshine wherever she goes. This happy, affectionate pup loves people and greets the world with endless wiggles, a big personality, and lots of charm.
She is currently receiving precautionary treatment for a past tick-borne exposure and is feeling great, with no concerning findings on her lab work. Bridget is more than ready to start her next adventure with a loving family by her side.
Sweet, spirited, and full of joy.
👉 Visit SPCA Cincinnati to meet Bridget and see if she is the right fit for your home.
Thank you to Upstream 360 for continuing to support our mission and the animals in our care. 🐾

When we look back over the last several days, we cannot help but to be incredibly grateful.
Our community shows up for animal welfare in the most inspiring ways which is why SPCA Cincinnati is able to work its lifesaving mission.
From our volunteers, fosters, and adopters to our community partners and individual donors — thank you for your support!
Because of you pets were rescued. TQL made it possible for Phoebe & Coco Noir to find loving arms. Ava spent 246 days in our shelter🙏. Through our Veterans Adoption Program, which you help fund, she met her match! Oscar too!!
Recently, over the last holiday, members of management from one of our local JC Penny stores donated 68 towels to help in our day to day operations!
There’s so much to be both thankful for and proud of, collectively! And the work continues. Visit our main campus this weekend. Learn how you can get involved or adopt one of the deserving pets in our care. They just might rescue you!

We’re changing the narrative!
Big, Bully & Beautiful shines a special light on dogs who are often overlooked in shelters. These pups have so much love to give.
Kapone is one of those dogs. He’s 5-years-old, very chill, and an all around loving dog who’s been through a lot. He arrived skin and bones… trusting our team to heal him to the point of adoption. Kapone is now ready!
Meet one of our dogs and discover your next best friend; they just might rescue you!

Medical Monday highlights the healing, hope, and second chances made possible by our dedicated veterinary team.
Every day, they provide expert, compassionate care to help adoptable pets recover and thrive —for pets like Lint!
Lint arrived with many other cats during a rescue mission through SPCA’s Shelter2Shelter program. It was clear she had a few issues, including a dislocated knee beyond repair.
Dr. Schelle explains Lint’s care plan and how our shelter brought her back to good health, leading to her loving new home.
